Data and scripts for statistical replication

Statistical programs and eventually data enabling to replicate the statistical tables of my articles. Page under construction.

Candidacies to French elections since 1993

In addition to our article in La vie des idées, you will find here the database on candidacies to French elections since 1993 and our script which proposes an (imperfect) identification of candidates from one round to the other and one election to the other based on surnames and firstnames. Political shade grouping file and a script to generate article results are also available.

Replication package for the Great Separation

In this page, you will find scripts to replicate findings from our article The Great Separation published in the American Journal of Sociology in 2024 https://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/731603

Replication package for Ups and downs in finance

Ups and downs in finance; ups without downs in inequality is based on fine-grained administrative data that cannot be published for obvious privacy reasons. Therefore, you will not find the original raw data in this replication package. However, you will find the generic scripts to produce estimates in a given country (provided you get access to the data from the relevant statistical authority), the aggregated country estimates, and the estimation script based on the aggregated country data.

Scripts for "In the land of AKM" and for creating a DADS full panel

For our paper with Damien Babet and Marco Palladino, we used DADS yearfiles overlapping information to create a pseudo-identifier (IDENT_ALL) for wage-earners in France between 1994 and 2020. This enables for the first time to exploit statistically a full panel of wage-earners in France. The pseudo_id SAS scripts for the CASD platform can be found here.
